Chase Winovich is the future of the New England Patriots linebacking group. The former Michigan star is having a good season so far, and he showed a little bit of what he could do on Sunday.
Seattle Seahawks running back Carlos Hyde was trying to block for Russell Wilson. Hyde was standing in the way of Winovich taking Wilson down.
It is safe to say Winovich took care of that. He tossed Hyde out of the play and was able to wrap up Wilson with ease. It’s difficult to say which play was more impressive, the toss or the tackle. Nevertheless, Winovich made his presence felt.

As a young star in the New England linebacking group, we should see more plays like this from Winovich in the future. If this particular play was any indication, he should be a fan favorite sooner rather than later.
