While the Miami Dolphins brought in four running backs this offseason, Chase Edmonds was the first that they signed, as he received a two-year, $12.6 million contract.
It’s still early in the process, but it feels like the former Arizona Cardinal will be getting the majority of the work in Miami’s offense that will likely feature multiple backs in every game.
During his media availability this week, Edmonds shared his reasoning for joining the Dolphins and explained that LeSean McCoy is his mentor. So, it’s not all that surprising to see Edmonds join McCoy on “I AM ATHLETE,” this week.
The two talked about a variety of topics, including Miami’s offensive outlook, his other options in free agency, fantasy football and Kyler Murray’s removed studying clause in his contract.
