Two steps forward, one step back has been the mantra of the Boston Celtics for the last season and a half or so as the team has struggled to find firm footing under the leadership of the team’s two young star forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
Is the consistency problem rooted in their youth and comparative inexperience in a leadership role, or is there a more fundamental issue — or issues — that are producing the Celtics’ uneven play?
