He’s back, ladies and gentlemen.
Cam Newton was released by the New England Patriots earlier this year, and he has found his way back into the NFL playing on a very familiar team.
Newton is back with the Carolina Panthers, and in his return, he has already accounted for two touchdowns, one rushing and one passing. While he has not wowed the NFL since his MVP season in 2015, Newton is expected to be a point of stability for the Panthers, who are riding playoff eligibility and needed a new QB following the injury to incumbent Sam Darnold.
Here is Newton’s first touchdown in his return to Carolina.
