After one half in Week 2, it looked like the Arizona Cardinals were on the ir way to a blowout loss for the second week in a row to start the 2022 season. They were down 20-0 to the Las Vegas Raiders and were awful both offensively and defensively.
However, they rallied for 23 second-half points to force overtime and then won the game on a 59-yard fumble return for a touchdown by cornerback Byron Murphy.
Check out the play in the video!
The play ended capped the improbable win. The Cardinals were down 16 points in the fourth quarter, needing two touchdowns and two two-point conversions to even get to over time.
They did it, getting the second touchdown and conversion as time expired at the end of regulation.
The Cardinals turned the ball over on downs in overtime before the game-winning touchdown.
Raiders receiver Hunter Renfrow, who had fumbled just two plays before but had it recovered by teammate Foster Moreau, had the ball knocked loose by linebacker Isaiah Simmons. Murphy picked up the ball and took it the distance for the 29-23 win.
