The MLB has included a star-studded exhibition game as part of All-Star Weekend since 2001. Officially dubbed the “All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game,” this is a chance for former stars and other familiar faces to play a friendly game of softball.
The 2023 MLB All-Star Game is being held in Seattle, Washington, which made Chicago Bulls star and Renton, Washington, native Zach LaVine a perfect candidate to participate.
LaVine did not disappoint. Not only did the high-flyer rob a potential home run, he also found time to catch up with Seattle Mariners legend Ken Griffey Jr.
LaVine’s signature moment of the evening, however, was an absolute bomb of a home run. It easily cleared the makeshift fence used for the game and landed on the warning track of T-Mobile Park.
