After a scoreless first quarter, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally found the end zone late in the first half during Saturday night’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, courtesy of quarterback Kyle Trask and wide receiver Cody Thompson.
Trask escaped the pocket on a key third-down situation, scrambling to his right and finding Thompson on the run for a six-yard score to tie things up with the Jags.
The Bucs scored both of their touchdowns last week against the Cincinnati Bengals on the ground, but now they have their first score of the 2024 preseason through the air.
