WATCH: Bryce Young jukes Demario Davis to turf on shifty run

Panthers QB Bryce Young put Saints LB Demario Davis on his knees with a nasty juke.

Once again, the Carolina Panthers offense hasn’t done much to inspire hope this week—finishing their first half against the New Orleans Saints with just three points and 122 yards. But at least we can add another Bryce Young run to the highlight reel.

As an appetizer, the rookie quarterback ripped off this—a 21-yard run about four minutes into the second quarter:

Young’s big gain was part of a 12-play, 46-yard drive that resulted in Carolina’s only three points of the half. Kicker Eddy Piñeiro, who is now 20 of 23 on his field goal attempts, eventually came on for a successful 47-yard try.

Ok, now for the main course . . .

Two possessions later, Young escaped (yet another) collapsing pocket for an 11-yard scramble. And this time, he put Demario Davis—one of the very best middle linebackers in the game—on his knees with a nasty juke:

Young went into the break with three more rushing yards than passing yards. (No, that’s not a good thing.)
