With just a week until the 2021 NFL Draft begins, the Cleveland Browns continue to prepare for a draft in which they have nine picks in total. They currently have two third-round picks and two fourth-round picks. With this being an unusual year for the draft with a number of players missing their season last year, no NFL combine and somewhat limited access to draft prospects, I asked my guest Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network what he thought teams would do with extra picks in this draft.
“The talent pool in this draft is really thin, I usually grade more than 1100 players,” Pauline said. “This year my list is dwindled down to 890…I think a lot of teams are going to try and trade day three picks this year to get additional selections in 2022 where we may have as many as 300 to 350 players with draftable grades.”
Here is the full interview with Pauline, who is the Chief Draft Analyst at PFN, Host of ‘The Draft Insiders with Trey Wingo’ and Bleav Podcast’s ‘The Draft Analysts with Chris Tripodi.’ Enjoy!
