The Washington Commanders did something on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons they haven’t done since Week 1: the Commanders scored an opening-drive touchdown.
It was an impressive finish, too.
Quarterback Taylor Heinicke completed his first four passes of the game, leading the Commanders on a seven-play, 74-yard drive to give Washington an early 7-3 lead.
Heinicke capped off the drive with a short pass to rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr., who did the rest, rumbling through Atlanta defenders for the 14-yard touchdown reception.
Check it out.
Hell of an effort by @BrianR_4 👏👏👏
