Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons learned the hard way not to miss a high-five from his punter, Brett Kern.
During the Week 17 game against the Miami Dolphins, which the Titans won 34-3, leading to their clinching the AFC South, Kern was waiting on the sideline to give Simmons a high-five, but the big man didn’t reciprocate.
Shortly after, Kern walked up to Simmons and gave him the business.
“Next time you walk by me without giving me a high five, we’re gonna have some problems,” Kern said to Simmons.
“My fault, Brett,” Simmons replied.

Thankfully, Kern didn’t hurt Simmons for his mistake, but next time he might not be so lucky.
The Titans will return to action in Week 18 when they travel to NRG Stadium to take on the Houston Texans. Tennessee can clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference with a win.
