All-Star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is not shy about sharing how much his time with the Duke Blue Devils had changed his life as a basketball player, and that (to him, if not all of us with prejudice against the Dookies for our own rooting interests) beloved topic came up on his recent appearance on the “Old Man and the three” podcast with co-host and fellow Duke alumni JJ Redick.
The pair waxed nostalgic on getting screamed at in practice, all the connections the program made for them, and a host of other Duke propaganda, er, memories of their time as a Blue Devil.
If you are a fan of the Celtics AND a fan of Duke or at least the St. Louis native being interviewed by Reddick, you can catch Tatum talking about all things Duke with the retired NBA player in the clip embedded below.
