The Boston Celtics got back above .500 with a much-needed win over the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday night, and All-Star Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum was the team’s leading scorer in the win.
The St. Louis native led all scorers in fact, putting up 38 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in 37 minutes of playing time that saw Tatum shoot 17-of-26 from the floor, and 4-of-13 from beyond the arc while turning the ball over just twice and fouling three times in total. A + 21 on the night, only Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III were on the court for more winning plays Saturday night.
