The Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors have a long history of pitched battles, and fourth-year shooting guard Jaylen Brown has been in the thick of them for most of his career.
Throughout most of the 2010s, Boston was at a disadvantage in the win column, but things began to change since Brown’s arrival. The Celtics went 1-3 vs. the Raps in his rookie season, then 2-2 two seasons in a row, and 2-1 so far in 2019-20.
The Cal-Berkeley product grew over that stretch as well, his season-high against Toronto in 2016-17 was just 10 points, growing to 18 points the season after, and 30 on Christmas Day 2019.
