The Boston Celtics held their annual Media Day proceedings on Monday, Sep. 28, and a large portion of the team’s roster spoke with the press about the season to come and a host of other related issues.

Among them was Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown, who spoke at length about his wrist and how far along he is in its healing, and in particular his relationship with and support for new Boston head coach Ime Udoka, who missed Media Day in person due to a mild breakthrough case of COVID-19. The Georgia native spoke on his enthusiasm for the coming season, the travails of the one just finished, and touched on the hot-button issue of vaccination among his peers as well.
