You might not even have noticed anything was different from the absolute tear Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown was on to start the 2021-22 NBA season Monday night against the Houston Rockets as the Georgia native hung 19 points on the team his Celtics blew out 108 – 90.
But Brown did it in just 23 minutes of playing time, still on a minutes restriction out of concern for his health after having returned from an eight-game absence due to a strained right hamstring, something of a recurrent injury for the Cal-Berkeley product over the last couple of seasons.
