WATCH: Boston Celtic center Robert Williams’ best plays in February

Timelord had the best month of his career to date in February.

Boston Celtics reserve big man Robert Williams III might end up shedding the ‘reserve’ title sooner rather than later if he keeps up the level of play he has been putting on the floor in the month of February.

The Texas A&M product showed an increased court awareness while logging 6.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, a steal and 1.2 blocks per game while hitting 68.8% of his field goals overall. His per-36 minutes would put him at 15.1 points, 13.2 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, 2.2 assists and as many steals per game. While the latter stats are just rough productions, some increased run this month suggests it may be worthwhile to give Time Lord some spot starts just to see how he’ll hold up in a bigger role.

Watch the video embedded below to see how Williams increased his profile with one of the best months of play of his NBA career to date in this clip produced by Tomasz Kordylewski.
