The Sooners’ 28-24 win will allow Oklahoma to move up at least one spot with No. 6 Oregon’s 31-28 loss to unranked Arizona State.
Jalen Hurts’ turnover problem carried over from last week’s game against Baylor, turning the ball over three times as the Sooners squeaked by the Horned Frogs.
Oklahoma and Baylor both clinched a spot in the Big 12 Championship game, setting a rematch from last week’s thriller.
With the win, the Sooners stay alive and retain their outside shot for the playoffs.
