Watch: Biggio’s second blast of 2021

Home run number two for Cavan Biggio came Thursday night

The Toronto Blue Jays opened the home portion of their 2021 season on Thursday.

In Dunedin, Florida.

Due to the pandemic, the Blue Jays will spend at least the first month of the year playing home games at their spring training facility.

In the very non-traditional home-opener Thursday night against the Angels a couple of big boppers went yard as Vladimir Guererro, Jr. hit a home run and Mike Trout literally put a ball on an elementary school.

Notre Dame product Cavan Biggio got in on the action, as well as the Blue Jays third baseman, hit his second home run of the year to tie things at four in the sixth inning.

The Blue Jays eventually fell to the Angels in 11 innings, 7-5.
