All-Star Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown was quietly having an outstanding month of April even has his team had plenty of hiccups and All-NBA teammate Jayson Tatum was putting up some historic numbers at the same time.
The Georgia native averaged a very solid 25.8 points, 7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting .500 from the field, a sizzling 43.8% from beyond the arc, and a solid 79.6% from the free throw line on 3.8 attempts per game over the 13 contests he played in last month. That he managed all of this while juggling tendinitis and a sprained ankle towards the end of the month makes it all the more impressive.
Hopefully, it’s a sign Brown is heating up heading into the postseason.
