The Philadelphia 76ers have championship aspirations inside the bubble for 2020. To reach those plans, they will need to rely on Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to get there. That means that the team needs them both to figure out their bugaboos in order to push forward.
For Embiid, the big man needs to work on passing and making the right decisions out of the double teams and he has done that so far at a much better level.
For Simmons, it’s the same thing as it always has been and that is his lack of a jump shot. He needs to be able to at least attempt some type of jumper every game to keep defenses honest. On Wednesday’s game against the Washington Wizards, he finally took his first official 3-pointer inside the bubble.
He didn't make it, but it's good for Ben Simmons to be spacing from the corners and getting up a 3-pointer again pic.twitter.com/fksndqo4Cr

This is a good sign for Simmons who made a 3-pointer in the first scrimmage game against the Memphis Grizzlies, but he has not even attempted a 3-pointer since that game. He will have to take this as a good first step and keep moving forward as a player. [lawrence-related id=36198,36185,36179]
