Kurt Warner’s unconventional path to the NFL is coming to the big screen this holiday season, with “American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story” set to be released on December 10. It’s a film chronicling his story of going from working at a grocery store to winning a Super Bowl with the Rams.
Warner will be played by Zachary Levi, with Dennis Quaid playing coach Dick Vermeil. Lionsgate shared a first look at the movie, with awesome behind-the-scenes footage, as well as interviews with Warner, Levi and others.
For Rams fans, this film will surely be a fun watch later this year.

Warner has been on the set of the movie, too, and plays an integral role in the film’s production – considering it’s his life and story to tell. He played catch with Levi on the field, too.
Below are some photos from the film, including one of Warner with Levi, who’s wearing an AFL uniform.
