It doesn’t happen often this season, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers found themselves in the end zone in the first quarter during Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
The Bucs were able to move down the field and had their drive extended by a personal foul from the Texans on a late Baker Mayfield hit, and it eventually resulted in the team entering the red zone. The Bucs faced a 4th and short near the end zone, but the team went for it and converted on a Rachaad White run — not long after, quarterback Baker Mayfield found tight end Cade Ottom for a touchdown to give the Bucs the lead back. The touchdown is only the second first-quarter score from the Bucs this year.
