Points are coming in bunches today in Nashville.
We’ve seen Baker Mayfield calm in the pocket on a strike to Jarvis Landry, a Big Man Touchdown from reserve Cleveland offensive tackle Kendall Lamm, and now a 75-yard strike from Mayfield to Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones:

One of the things that head coach Kevin Stefanski has done with Mayfield this year is to have his QB throw off of play-action using heavier personnel packages. On this play the Browns have 13 personnel on the field: Three tight ends and a running back. Peoples-Jones is the only WR in the game. But he runs a double-move here, with Mayfield looking for him coming out of the run fake.
Play action can be a cheat code.
