Everyone knows the big-name players the Rams have traded for over the last four years, from Jalen Ramsey and Brandin Cooks to Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib. But Austin Corbett shouldn’t be left out of that conversation because he’s played well since joining the Rams in 2019 by way of an in-season trade.
Los Angeles gave the Browns a fifth-round pick in the 2021 draft for Corbett back in October of 2019. He was the starting right guard last season and is expected to remain there this season, emerging as a key contributor after a difficult tenure in Cleveland.
On the newest episode of “Behind the Grind,” Corbett reflected on his trade from the Browns to L.A., the close-knit offensive line group with the Rams and how much his son and family mean to him.
“Truly, it’s one of the more special offensive line groups I’ve been a part of with how close we are and it makes it exciting going into this season, for sure,” he said.
