Former Notre Dame running back [autotag]Audric Estime[/autotag] has a lot to prove to the Denver Broncos and the NFL.
Many thought that the former Irish star would have been one of the first players at his position drafted, but that wasn’t the case. Estime lasted until the No. 147 overall pick of the 5th round, as he landed in the Mile High City.
The selection by the Broncos is already paying off in what many see the backs early role in the NFL, a short-yardage pounder. In the third quarter of Denver’s preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts, Estime took a handoff from the 3-yard line and powered his way into the end zone.

Although this one wasn’t during the regular season, it’s still a glimpse of what he back can do. We expect to see Estime hitting pay dirt multiple times this year and beyond.
