Watch as injured Notre Dame offensive lineman returns to practice

Great news for the Irish

With just a few days until Notre Dame football takes on the Georgia Bulldogs in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff, it was great to see one of the Irish’s injured players getting back onto the practice field.

Offensive lineman [autotag]Rocco Spindler[/autotag] was hurt in the win over the Indiana Hoosiers, as head coach Marcus Freeman had said that he would be out of Wednesday nights game. Well, that might not be the case as On3’s Tyler Horka shared a video of the guard back to work with the team.

You can clearly see his right ankle is taped up, but it looks as if Spindler was moving fairly well despite being banged up a bit. Hopefully he is good to go against the Bulldogs, as the offensive line will be tested by Georgia’s impressive defensive front.

Notre Dame offensive lineman Rocco Spindler participates in a drill during a Notre Dame football practice at Irish Athletic Center on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, in South Bend.
