WATCH: Armando Bacot puts in offseason work at camp

UNC basketball standout Armando Bacot participated in a basketball camp in Atlanta.

The 2022-23 season wasn’t what the UNC basketball program envisioned when four of five starters returned for another year. One of those starters, Armando Bacot, put together another impressive season but it wasn’t enough to will them to the NCAA Tournament.

Bacot is back for a fifth and final year in Chapel Hill and will be the unquestioned leader for a Tar Heels roster that is completely revamped.

While we are still months away from the start of the season, Summer is coming and players will be participating in camps, giving us a look at their offseason workouts. For Bacot, he was at a pro/college camp in Atlanta run by Rob Allen.

Check out highlights of Bacot:

Last season, Bacot averaged 15.9 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 55% from the field. He entered the year as a preseason favorite to win player of the year and he likely will be in that conversation again this season.
