The Washington Football Team was down 21-0 early in the second quarter. The offense had already turned the ball over twice, and the defense could not make a stop.
Someone on offense had to make a play before Washington was ran out of the building.
Enter running back Antonio Gibson.
On second down, quarterback Taylor Heinicke drops back to make a pass, is pressured, and drops off the ball to Gibson on a screen pass.
The rest is history.
Gibson weaves in and out of traffic, taking the ball 73 yards for the touchdown. Suddenly, Washington was back in the game, down 21-7.
It was an outstanding individual effort by Gibson.

Washington will need more individual efforts like the one above by Gibson to get back in this game.
