The Los Angeles Lakers got a much-needed victory last night against the Denver Nuggets, 93-89.
Despite not having LeBron James, who missed the game after re-aggravating his right ankle injury during Sunday’s loss to Toronto. Anthony Davis and the Lakers persevered down the stretch to knock off the Nuggets.
For Davis, who has struggled since coming back from injury, looked to be more comfortable last night, scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks, including a clutch floater in the final minute as well as the game-clinching block with under 10 seconds remaining.

Last night’s victory jumped the Lakers back into the 5th seed in the Western Conference as they continue to battle it out with the Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers to avoid the play-in tournament.
