Andrew Wiggins missed the Golden State Warriors‘ Eastern Conference road trip due to personal issues. He has rejoined the team and will likely resume his role within Steve Kerr‘s starting lineup when the Warriors face the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.
After missing four games, concerns regarding Wiggins’ conditioning may exist. However, given the short duration of his absence, those concerns are likely to be fleeting. On Tuesday, fans were given another reason to be excited about getting the three-and-D forward back in the rotation when footage of him working out with the coaching staff emerged online.
After struggling to begin the season, Wiggins has reemerged as an integral piece to the team’s puzzle. Both his defense and perimeter scoring have taken a drastic upturn since the All-Star break.

Not only have Wiggins’ performances improved but he’ also has managed to up his level of play while sharing the court with third-year forward Jonathan Kuminga. That duo, along with Draymond Green, has revitalized the Warriors season and given them hope of breaking into the top six of the Western Conference.
As such, the team will face some legitimate pressure when they face the Bucks. Wiggins’ return should provide the team with a legitimate boost.
