Andrew Wiggins snapped out of his slow start to the season during the Golden State Warriors‘ Nov. 18 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran wing dropped 31 points while hitting five 3s on eight attempts from the perimeter. Wiggins had sunk five perimeter shots all season heading into the game against the Thunder.
Unfortunately for Golden State, Wiggins’ resurgence wasn’t enough to help the team snap its losing streak, which stands at six games. A rough third quarter and some questionable decision-making during overtime consigned the franchise to another loss and piled the pressure onto Steve Kerr to help figure things out.
Nevertheless, the Warriors fan base will undoubtedly be pleased to see Wiggins making an impact on the offensive side of the floor. His scoring ability is integral in the team getting back on track. So, it’s no wonder a video of the veteran making his fifth 3 began to circulate across social media as fans celebrated his big-time shooting night.
