The Eagles blew a prime opportunity to win the division and potentially land the No. 1 overall seed with an ugly 36-33 loss to the Commanders in Week 17. Even without quarterback Jalen Hurts (concussion), Philadelphia still had opportunities to win, thanks to A.J. Brown.
With Hurts ruled out for Week 17 and Kenny Pickett getting the start at quarterback, Brown will be needed more than ever. A confident player who goes by the ” Always Open ” moniker, Brown arrived at Lincoln Financial Field wearing a ‘Can’t Be Stopped’ hoodie ahead of a Dallas team looking to play spoilers.

Despite missing three games due to injury, Brown ranks 9th in the NFL with a team-leading 1,043 receiving yards. Brown became just the second player in franchise history to produce three consecutive seasons with 1,000+ receiving yards, joining Mike Quick (1983-85). Brown leads the league with 16.3 yards per reception (min. 50 catches) while ranking 3rd in receiving yards per game (86.9) behind Ja’Marr Chase (100.7) and Justin Jefferson (92.5) (min. 12 games).
