Watch: Adrian Peterson makes Titans practice debut, Julio Jones returns

Adrian Peterson practiced with the Titans for the first time on Wednesday.

There were two noteworthy things happening at Tennessee Titans practice on Wednesday, as wide receiver Julio Jones returned after being ruled out on Sunday, and running back Adrian Peterson made his debut.

Tennessee held a light practice with just a walk-through, but Jones’ presence is a great sign nonetheless. He had been bothered by a hamstring issue for weeks now.

Peterson took the practice field for the first time since being signed to the Titans’ practice squad on Tuesday, and he looks to be in as great a shape as ever. He’s expected to carry the load in the wake of Derrick Henry’s injury.

In other news: Cornerbacks Greg Mabin and Chris Jackson, fullback Khari Blasingame, linebacker Rashaan Evans and right guard Nate Davis were not spotted at practice. Evans and Blasingame did not play in Week 8.

Returning to practice along with Julio was defensive lineman Teair Tart and backup tackle Kendall Lamm. All three were ruled out on Sunday.

We’ll get a better idea of practice participation when the injury report comes out sometime after 3 p.m. CT.
