Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now a three-time NFL MVP.
Previously a winner in 2011 and 2014, Rodgers was named the league’s most valuable player in 2020 after throwing 48 touchdown passes for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Rodgers’ acceptance speech can be viewed above. The Packers quarterback thanked teammates, coaches and a host of supporters, while also revealing he is now engaged.
“It’s an honor to win this award for the third time,” Rodgers said. “2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped, playing for very little fans or no fans the entire season, I got engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career.”
