Watch: Aaron Donald works out in basement of his childhood home

Aaron Donald was back in Pittsburgh recently for a workout in the dungeon.

Aaron Donald didn’t get to where he is today thanks to freakish size or God-given abilities. He’s worked incredibly hard since his childhood days, hitting the weight room at a young age and maintaining a pristine work ethic ever since then.

In high school, he would wake up at 4:30 a.m. just to wake out before leaving the house for school. That’s not something your average teenager does, but it has helped Donald become the player that he is currently.

Donald still goes back home to work out in what he calls “the dungeon,” which is another word for the basement in his parents’ home. In the latest video on his YouTube channel, Donald returned to Pittsburgh for a workout in the basement with his nephew, Elliot Donald,  who’s a four-star recruit.

Take a look at the video below, which also features Donald’s red Bentley. (Warning: video contains explicit language)

Donald bounces back and forth between L.A. and Pittsburgh, having ties in both cities. And while he loves working out at the Sports Academy in Los Angeles, training in the dungeon is different for the six-time Pro Bowler.

He’ll be back in L.A. soon with training camp expected to begin on July 28.
