Aaron Donald held a football camp over the weekend back home in Pittsburgh, giving young players the chance to train with him and learn some of his techniques on the field. Donald also shared some off-the-field advice, helping keep the campers’ focus on the right things.
A camera caught an awesome moment between Donald and a youngster as the two were walking off the field, and it’s a perfect example of the star’s personality. After the camper asked how much Donald’s chain cost and where he got his shoes, he told Aaron, “I want to grow up, I want to become you.”
Donald’s response couldn’t have been better.
“You’ll be better than me,” Donald said.

Donald is well on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame thanks to a remarkable start to his NFL career, earning seven Pro Bowl selections and being selected as a first-team All-Pro six times.
With three Defensive Player of the Year awards, too, he’s in rare company.
When it comes to NFL stars young players should aspire to be, Donald is up there among the best to idolize.
