Sources: The Washington Football Team is making a QB change. Kyle Allen will get the start vs. the #Rams, while former starter Dwayne Haskins goes to the bench.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera has made the decision that many of us knew might be coming, with QB Dwayne Haskins being sent to the bench in favor of backup QB Kyle Allen, who will now get the start against the Los Angeles Rams.
This as been a possibility that’s hung over Haskins for a couple of weeks now, with the decision coming after Washington’s 31-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens where Haskins threw for 314 yards and zero interceptions. Many, including us, believed that that performance was enough to allow Haskins to keep his job for another week, but that appears not to be the case.
On top of the news that Allen will start, it appears that Haskins won’t even hold the QB2 role going forward, with Alex Smith now moving up to the backup spot.
Not only is Dwayne Haskins not starting for the Washington Football Team on Sunday, he's not even No. 2. Alex Smith will back up Kyle Allen against the #Rams.
