Washington Huskies star running back Jonah Coleman has had a very busy week. On Thanksgiving Day, he announced his intentions to return to Montlake for his senior season, and on Thursday, he was named to the All-Big Ten third-team offense as a media selection.
His teammate, senior linebacker and team captain Carson Bruener, received the same honor on the defensive side.
The junior from Stockton, California followed coach Jedd Fisch from Arizona and as expected, was one of the focal points of Washington’s offense. He finished No. 5 in rushing yards in the Big Ten and No. 33 in the nation, tallying 184 carries for 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Pro Football Focus graded Coleman as Washington’s best offensive player, noting he forced 61 missed tackles and picked up 56 first downs in his first season as a Husky.
Coleman made a huge splash on social media when he announced his return, collaborating with Washington’s outstanding creative team to edit “I’m Back” onto his license plate, announcing his intentions to play for Fisch and the Huskies in the 2025 season.
With his return and the honor under his belt, the Husky star should make a serious case as the nation’s top running back in 2025.
