Washington OL commit gets a massive ratings boost

Washington’s latest commit got a huge boost in the 247Sports rankings.

After the Washington Huskies identified Zac Stascausky as a potential target for the 2025 class along the offensive line, it didn’t take long for Jedd Fisch’s coaching staff to secure a commitment from the product of Central Catholic High School in Oregon.

The No. 2 player in Oregon flipped his commitment from Minnesota to Washington in a big win for offensive coordinator Brennan Carroll, who earned another win on Friday when 247Sports upgraded Stascausky to a four-star prospect.

“One player that instantly caught the eye of Brandon Huffman earlier this month is Zac Stascausky,” 247Sports’ director of scouting Andrew Ivins said. “A big-framed tackle that was verified at 6-foot-6.5, 282 pounds this summer, Stascausky looked the part in Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic’s rout of Wahiawa (Hawaii) Leilehua as he moved people on the left side of the line.”

“More importantly, Stascausky constantly finished plays and put defenders in the turf. What has also stood out about the first few games of Stascausky’s is how he uses his length as a positional blocker.”

With his upgrade, the Huskies now have nine prospects with a four-star rating from 247Sports in the 2025 class and 11 in total when factoring in 247’s Composite rankings. Stascausky recently received an offer from coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs and could see his stock continue to rise during his senior season.
