The Washington Redskins have had a shake-up in their personnel department, reportedly firing two of their top employees in the pro scouting department, Alex Santos and Richard Mann II.
According to The Washington Post, Alex Santos, the director of pro personnel, and Richard Mann II, the assistant director of pro personnel, were let go Saturday, leaving the team without the two men most responsible for coordinating advance scouting of opponents and evaluating potential free agents less than a month before the start of training camp.
There is not yet word as to why this move was made, and the team had no comment on the situation.
