The Washington Huskies (0-1) and Michigan Wolverines (1-0) meet Saturday at Michigan Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Washington vs. Michigan odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.
The Huskies were stunned at home against FCS Montana in Seattle by a 13-7 count. Washington opened with a touchdown less than five minutes into the game and then they did nothing after that. The offensive line allowed three sacks to the Griz, QB Dylan Morris tossed three interceptions and the Huskies missed a field goal, too.
The Wolverines racked up a 47-14 win over Western Michigan, as the Under just came in. A lot of people were impressed by the speed of the Wolverines, but they played a mid-level MAC team and didn’t exactly beat Alabama or Clemson.

Washington at Michigan odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Michigan 30, Washington 21
Money line
Michigan (-270) is likely going to be ranked next week after winning this game against a fellow Power 5 team. Washington (+210) entered the season in the rankings but quickly tumbled out after its embarrassing loss last week. It’s going to get worse, as they’re staring an 0-2 start in the grill.
While I like Michigan to win, I don’t like to risk more than two and a half times the potential return.
AVOID, and look to the spread instead.
Against the spread
MICHIGAN -6.5 (-125) is the play as long as this game stays under seven and a hook. The Wolverines did lose WR Ronnie Bell to a season-ending knee injury last week, which is a tough setback. He had a 76-yard touchdown reception in his only touch in the first half.
Despite the loss of one of its big-play skill players, the Wolverines are going to roll. Morris looked bad against the Griz last week, and that was in a game at home against an FCS team. Now, he’ll be going to The Big House in front of rabid fans making it that much more difficult to communicate.
Over/Under
OVER 48.5 (-115) seems like a crazy play based upon Washington’s performance last week. They mustered just seven points in their loss, and they went scoreless in nearly 55 minutes to close the game. But they’ll get it together and fix some of the mistakes.
Meanwhile, Michigan QB Cade McNamara looks serviceable, and RB Blake Corum hit triple digits in rushing yardage while scoring. He was one of three Wolverines to find the end zone on the ground. Look for more of the same from Michigan this week.
