Washington at Arizona odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Friday’s Washington Huskies at Arizona Wildcats odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Washington Huskies (2-4, 1-2 Pac-12) travel to meet the Arizona Wildcats (0-6, 0-3) Friday at Arizona Stadium in Tucson. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Washington vs. Arizona odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

The Huskies started the season ranked in the Top 25, but they fell to FCS Montana. A trip to Michigan resulted in an 0-2 start, and they enter this one with losses at Oregon State and home to UCLA. Washington is just 1-5 ATS across its six games overall.

The Wildcats have had tremendous difficulty this season, losing their past four games against FBS opponents by 18 or more points. Arizona hit rock bottom last week in a 34-0 loss at Colorado, and the Wildcats are now 1-4 ATS across the past five outings.

Washington at Arizona odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Washington 31, Arizona 10

Money line

Washington (-1100) will cost you 11 times your potential return. While Arizona (+650) should be the elixir to cure the ills of the Huskies, it’s just too risky on a 2-4 SU team, especially on the road.

AVOID, and look to the spread.

Against the spread

WASHINGTON -17.5 (-112) is worth a small-unit play, only because Arizona +17.5 (-108) is so bad.

If the Huskies can get into the 30’s, the Wildcats have shown they cannot keep up. Arizona has scored 19 or fewer points in every game this season, ranking 129th out of 130 teams with 14.0 PPG. And defensively, Arizona has allowed 202.2 yards per game on the ground, 112th in the country.

Over/Under

UNDER 46.5 (-108) is the lean, as Arizona’s offense is horrific. The Under is 4-1 across the past five for Washington, while going 3-1 in the past four for Arizona.

The Under is also 16-5-1 in Washington’s last 22 games on the road, and 10-4-1 in the previous 15 as a road favorite. Look for plenty of defense.
