Was Boston’s Jaylen Brown in the wrong in his tussle with Miami’s Duncan Robinson?

The Celtics star took issue with the Heat wing locking his arm. Did he react too strongly?

The Boston Celtics can always expect a physical contest when they play the Miami Heat, and their recent 110-106 win over an injury-depleted Heat squad was no exception. During the contest, star Celtics forward Jaylen Brown clashed with Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson, the former locking arms with the latter, only to see Brown throw Robinson for hooking his arm.

The Georgia native got a flagrant 1 tech for his efforts, and the Miami wing a foul, with a little lingering ire remaining with both while speaking about the incident postgame. Whose fault was the altercation? Was it a dirty play on either side, or just two gamers going at it hard?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Still Poddable” podcast took a moment to debate whether Brown was at all at fault, and their thoughts on the contest more generally.
