While the NBA world has eyes on the Denver Nuggets and the Eastern Conference Finals, the Golden State Warriors are turning their attention to the draft. After being eliminated in the second round of the postseason, Steve Kerr and Mike Dunleavy Jr. will have time to prepare for the 2023 edition of the NBA draft in June.
On Friday, the Warriors brought in six different draft prospects from major Division One programs. Gonzaga’s Julian Strawther, Illinois forward Colemand Hawks, Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis, Memphis Tigers guard Kendric Davis, Wichita State’s Craig Porter Jr. and Villanova’s Caleb Daniels were in the Bay Area for a pre-draft workout with the Warriors.
