Warriors, Wiseman to be nationally televised during NBA preseason

Golden State will be featured twice on national TV during the 2020 NBA preseason schedule set to begin on Dec. 11.

The NBA on Monday announced its national television schedule for the 2020 preseason, which will begin on Dec. 11 and conclude on Dec. 19. Teams will play a minimum of two and a maximum of four games during the preseason, with at least one home and away game.

ESPN will air five of the seven nationally-televised games during the 49-game preseason schedule while TNT will broadcast the other two. The ESPN schedule will feature the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers and one of two national TV appearances by the Golden State Warriors.

With Stephen Curry set to return, the Warriors figure to be featured heavily throughout the 2020-21 season. Fans will also have an opportunity to watch No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman and his transition to the NBA early on during the preseason.

The 2020-21 regular season will tip-off on Dec. 22 and feature 72 games for each team. The regular-season schedule will be released in two segments with the first half of the season, which will run through March 4, to be released in the coming days.
