Basketball is officially back. On Monday, the Golden State Warriors will open their 2021 preseason campaign against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Monday’s contest in the pacific northwest will be the first time the Warriors are on the court since suffering back-to-back losses in the Western Conference postseason play-in tournament.
The preseason battle will feature the NBA preseason debut of Golden State’s pair of first-round picks from the 2021 draft, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody. The rookie duo will get their first opportunity to play alongside Golden State veterans like Steph Curry and Draymond Green.
According to Steve Kerr, every player on Golden State’s 16-man roster will get playing time against the Trail Blazers on Monday night.
