After sweeping a two-game “baseball series” against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Golden State Warriors will vie for their first three-game winning streak of the season on Thursday night. However, it won’t come easy with a trip to Phoenix to face the new-look Suns on the second leg of a back-to-back on the docket.
For the first time on the young season, the Warriors will get a glimpse at the Suns with veteran point guard Chris Paul leading the way. Despite their solid start, the Suns hit a rough patch, dropping four of their last five games, including a current three-game losing streak. Making things tougher, the Suns will be without sharpshooting scorer Devin Booker against the Warriors.
Along with Curry and Paul’s battle in the backcourt, rookie James Wiseman will get his first minutes against fellow former top pick DeAndre Ayton. While Wiseman is coming off a career-high performance with 25 points against the T-Wolves, Ayton is also riding an impressive stretch of hoops. The Arizona product has notched a double-double in four of his last five games.
Before the Warriors land in the desert, here is how to watch or stream the contest and everything else you need to know about the matchup.
