On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors will have the chance to extend their opening winning streak to three games. Standing in the Warriors way is Northern California rivals, the Sacramento Kings.
On the way to leading the Warriors to a 115-113 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, Steph Curry is coming off a thrilling 45 point performance featuring eight triples. On Sunday, he will meet with rookie guard Davion Mitchell.
While the former Baylor Bear hasn’t added much offensively, Mitchell has shown why he was picked No. 9 overall with his defense. He will now be tasked with guarding Curry on Sunday at Sacramento’s Chase Center.
