Warriors’ Steph Curry notches 24 points in return from injury vs. Suns

In his return to the court from a shoulder injury, Steph Curry notched 24 points in 31 minutes during the Warriors loss to the Suns on Tuesday.

After missing 11 games due to a shoulder subluxation injury, Steph Curry made his highly anticipated return to the court on Tuesday night at Chase Center against the Phoenix Suns. 

Despite missing Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton and Cam Johnson, the short-handed Suns played spoiler in Curry’s return with an upset win over the Warriors on their homecourt in San Francisco. The Suns stormed to an early lead that grew to 27 and coasted. 

During the Warriors’ 125-113 loss to the Suns, Curry tallied 24 points on 8-of-22 shooting from the field and 5-of-15 from long distance against the Suns.

The two-time MVP started the game slowly, shooting 3-of-10 from the field with only eight points through the first three quarters. Curry got going in the final frame, scoring 16 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Curry added three assists, a rebound and a steal in 31 minutes on Tuesday night.
